Dr. Moreno grew up in Chicago where he received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He then moved to Florida where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nutrition. Dr. Moreno has been practicing in the Hernando County area since 2001.

Health and nutrition play a vital role in our everyday lives and Dr. Moreno is a certified Hormone Replacement Specialist through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, committed to helping our patients achieve improved overall wellness. This means we have a certified nutritionist on staff that can work one on one with you and customize a diet that’s right for you. Due to the extreme success our weight loss patients have experienced, we are dedicating a significant amount of time, staff and resources to ensure current and future weight loss patients can successfully lose the weight and keep it off.
